In the Pit: Ballet superstar Rudolf Nureyev, who celebrated his 54th birthday last month by conducting Prokoviev’s “Romeo and Juliet” for the Kirov Ballet, his alma mater, will take up the baton again May 6 in New York to lead a performance by American Ballet Theatre. Sylvie Guillem is scheduled to dance the female lead that night.
