The AIDS Memorial Quilt will be on display at the CSUN Student Union Building from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. today and Friday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free; all donations go to local AIDS organizations. Call (818) 377-9990 or (818) 885-3696.
Several special events are planned.
* 10 a.m. today: Opening ceremonies.
* 7 tonight: Celebrities--including Rhea Perlman of “Cheers” and Charles Kimbrough of “Murphy Brown”--begin reading of the names.
* 10 a.m. Friday: New panels made locally will be dedicated.
* 11 a.m. Saturday: UCLA student theater group, Kaleidoscope Theatre performs a play about sex and relationships, outside the Student Union.
* 6:30 p.m. Saturday: Closing ceremonies.
