Gary Adam Lehman, an attorney and motion picture executive, has died in a Ventura hospital. He was 34.
A resident of Sherman Oaks, Lehman died Friday of complications of an April 4 car accident, said his mother, Lillian R. Lehman.
Born in East Meadow, N. Y., Lehman came to California in 1969 and graduated from Grant High School in Van Nuys and UC Santa Barbara, where he was involved with stage productions. He earned a law degree from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles. He worked as director of legal affairs for Miss Universe Inc. and later was vice president of business affairs for Orion Pictures.
Two years ago, Lehman was hired as senior vice president in charge of business and legal affairs at Island World Inc., a motion picture production company.
Besides his mother, Lehman is survived by his sister, Karen Lehman of Van Nuys.
A memorial service was held Sunday. Glasband-Willen Mortuary in North Hollywood handled the arrangements.
