JUST THE FAX: It’s the latest in religious teaching in Orange County--faxing the message. The Irvine Community Chabad Center is now sending out on Fridays “Fax of Life,” one-page passages from the Torah. . . . “Nothing wrong with using high technology to serve God,” says the center’s rabbi, Alter Tenenbaum. “It’s just a quick message we fax out to give people a little breather from the workweek.” It must be popular, center officials say, since no one who signed up has asked to be dropped from the list.
