Trabuco Hills’ Golf Team Leads by 3 at La Quinta

Trabuco Hills compiled an 11-under-par 133 to take the lead on the first day of the Tribute to Youth four-man best ball tournament Wednesday at the La Quinta Citrus course.
The Mustang foursome of Mark Christensen, Jason Brown, Justin Grandy and Zachary Allen leads Palm Springs (136) by three. Palos Verdes Peninsula and Estancia are in a tie for third at 137 and El Toro is in fifth at 140. Huntington Beach is tied for sixth (144), and Loara (146) is tied for eighth.
The tournament concludes today at the Desert Princess course in Palm Springs.
