Walter Ray Williams Jr., led the field by 413 pins to be the top-seeded bowler for the championship round of the $160,000 PBA Tums Classic. Williams averaged 242 over 42 games of qualifying to earn the top spot with a pinfall total of 10,728. Second-seeded Dave Ferraro totaled 10,315 pins.
