ROUNDUP : Hueneme Wins Tournament Final

Julian Barajas smacked a three-run triple in the third inning to spark a four-run rally and relief pitcher Frank Adame put the brakes to an El Segundo High rally in the sixth to lead Hueneme to a 7-6 victory Saturday in the championship final of the San Luis Obispo tournament.
Adame relieved starter Marco Grajales in the sixth and retired three batters to work out of a bases-loaded jam. El Segundo (14-2) threatened again in the seventh, but center fielder Juan Ponce made a diving catch.
Casey Bolen of Hueneme (9-6-1) was named tournament most valuable player after going six for 11 and setting a tournament record with six stolen bases.
ST. PAUL TOURNAMENT
Notre Dame 3, St. John Bosco 1--Chris Garza (7-0) pitched a six-hitter for Notre Dame in the first round of pool play. Garza had 10 strikeouts.
Alemany 10, Cantwell 0--Chris Tashima had three hits to lead host Alemany (11-5-1) in the first round of pool play. Greg Kmet (4-0) scattered eight hits.
St. Genevieve 6, Bosco Tech 3--Jon Hoffmann and Omar Gutierrez each had two hits to lead St. Genevieve (5-8) in the first round of pool play.
Bell-Jeff 6, Riverside Notre Dame 1--Will Barnett’s two-run single sparked Bell-Jeff in the first round.
In other prep baseball games:
L.A. Baptist 12, Harvard-Westlake 10--Trailing, 10-7, in the third-place game of the L.A. Baptist tournament, L.A. Baptist (7-8) scored five runs in the sixth inning.
Crespi 5, Montclair Prep 4--Kyle Carden singled home Joe Ruggiero with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh of a nonleague game at Valley College.
Brett Farlow had two hits for Crespi (12-4), and Jeff Shapiro had two hits for Montclair Prep (11-6).
HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL
Hoover 1, Paraclete 0--Nancy Evans struck out 18 and scored the only run for Hoover (12-2) in the Carpinteria tournament.
COLLEGE BASEBALL
Oxnard 4, Citrus 3--Al Anaya hit a two-run single and Steve Susco added an RBI double for Oxnard (5-23) in a nonconference game.
COLLEGE SOFTBALL
Cal State Hayward 8, Cal Lutheran 0--Cal Lutheran managed only a single by Michelle Campos in losing the final of the UC San Diego tournament. Cal Lutheran advanced to the final with a 21-3 win over San Diego.
Deborah Clements had three hits and Cheryl Aschenbach had two for CLU.
