Lunker Trout Is Caught at Irvine Lake

Trout fishermen might have the Eastern Sierra on their minds, but Ed Kowal won’t soon forget his experience at Irvine Lake.
The Anaheim resident caught a 14-pound 4-ounce rainbow trout on four-pound test line after a 10-minute fight. It was the second largest ever to come out of the heavily stocked reservoir.
