WORLD IN BRIEF : MIDEAST : U.S., Israel Clash Over Regional Talks

The United States and Israel have clashed over the participation of Palestinian exiles in regional Mideast talks scheduled for next month, diplomatic sources said. The regional talks, intended to complement the main bilateral Arab-Israeli peace negotiations in Washington, will cover topics ranging from arms control to economic development and are to be held in five different cities around the world.
