Priscilla Sarmiento scored on a throwing error in the 11th inning to lead Cypress College to a 1-0 victory Saturday over Moorpark in the championship game of a Southern California regional softball tournament at Cypress.
Sarmiento and Jackie Boxley reached base on infield singles to start the inning. Nikkanni Andrews then hit a slow bouncer to third, and Moorpark’s Tausha Pico threw wildly to first, enabling Sarmiento to score the winning run.

The Raiders finished (32-12); defending champion Cypress is 36-12.
