Miami Dolphin quarterback Dan Marino criticized former Pittsburgh Steeler coach Chuck Noll for saying on a radio talk show earlier this week that the Steelers had not drafted Marino in 1983 because of unsubstantiated rumors that Marino was a recreational drug user in college.
“These rumors have always been totally false, and I’m extremely disappointed that Chuck Noll would even bring them up,” Marino said in a statement.
