Man Found Slain in Laundry Area

Los Angeles police were searching Monday for the killer of a man found shot to death in the laundry room of a Van Nuys apartment complex.
The unidentified man was shot several times in the upper torso in the laundry room in the 13100 block of Oxnard Street about 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Sgt. Joe Brazas said.
A resident of the complex said he was walking near the laundry room when he heard gunshots. When he arrived, he said he found the fatally injured man.
Brazas said there were no witnesses and no apparent motive.
