University, Woodbridge Continue in 3-A Softball

Only two county teams, both from the Sea View League, remain in contention in the Southern Section 3-A softball playoffs that go into the quarterfinal round today.
Woodbridge (27-4), the top-seeded team in the division, travels to unseeded Walnut (12-8), and unseeded University (20-10) plays host to fourth-seeded Quartz Hill (21-2). Both games start at 3:15 p.m.
Woodbridge won the Sea View League title and University finished third.
