STILL CLEANING: The county Transit Authority was pleased with recent totals from its recycling efforts: 60,000 gallons of waste oil and fluids from buses, 4,800 pounds of Freon, and 30 tons of used batteries, filters, solvents and scrap metals. Besides that, it has reduced exhaust emissions by 21 tons the past year. But the downside: The agency has spent more than $100,000 in cleanup from leaky oil and fuel supplies at its bus yards.
