Fullerton Group Tells Schedule for 33rd Season of Free Concerts

FULLERTON — The Fullerton Friends of Music organization has announced its 33rd season of free Sunday concerts, to be held at Sunny Hills High School, 1801 Warburton Way. Groups and repertory for the 1992-93 season are:
* Oct. 15: The Angeles Quartet will play Haydn’s Quartet in E-flat, Opus 64, No. 6; Ravel’s String Quartet and Brahms’ Clarinet Quintet in B minor, Opus 115, with soloist Michelle Zukovsky.
* Dec. 6: Concerto Amabile, a San Francisco-based ensemble specializing in Baroque music, plays works for flute, violin, cello and harpsichord, to be announced.
* Feb. 21: The Arista Trio will play Mozart’s Trio in C, K. 548, Beethoven’s “Archduke” Trio and Arensky’s Trio in D minor, Opus 32.
* April 18: Hesperus, a Renaissance music group in residence at the Smithsonian Institution, plays works for soprano, recorders and plucked string instruments.
* May 16: Tenor Jonathan Mack, the Armadillo Quartet and pianist Raul Hererra, will play folk tunes arranged by Beethoven, and Vaughan Williams’ “On Wenlock Edge.”
