Grand Casting: The London company of the stage musical “Grand Hotel” will be allowed to hire two African-American actors to star in the show, the actors union British Equity has ruled. Producer Adrian Leggett said he had auditioned hundreds of black British actors but could not find any who met the required standards for the roles of Jimmy One and Jimmy Two. The show opens in London later this month.
