American League President Bobby Brown denied Baltimore’s protest that New York Yankee pitcher Tim Leary was scuffing the ball on June 21. Brown, however, said Yankee Manager Buck Showalter, pitching coach Mark Connor and Leary have all been warned that cheating won’t be tolerated, and their future actions will be under severe scrutiny.
