Boy Dies After Falling Into Swimming Pool

A 2-year-old boy fell into a Reseda swimming pool and later died, authorities said Sunday.
The boy’s parents found him Saturday about 5:40 p.m. in the pool in the 17300 block of Stagg Street, Los Angeles City Fire Department spokesman Jim Wells said. The child was given cardiopulmonary resuscitation and was taken to the hospital, Wells said.
Erguin Galindo of Van Nuys was pronounced dead at Northridge Hospital Medical Center at 6:40 p.m. Saturday, nursing supervisor Anne Lipman said.
