San Diego : Nurse, 43, Killed in One-Car Accident

A 43-year-old La Mesa woman was killed when her car ran off the road and hit a light pole, pinning her inside the car, authorities said Tuesday.
Sandra S. Karr, a nurse, was driving alone when her eastbound car went off the road about 9:20 a.m. Monday in the 8000 block of Parkway Drive, medical examiner’s investigator Chuck Kelley said.
She was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:49 a.m.
