Ronald A. Kovas has resigned as president of Sunset Publishing Corp. and plans to leave the parent firm Time Inc., which is a unit of Times Warner Inc., New York.
No successor to Kovas was named, and James E. Mitchell, vice president and chief financial officer of Menlo Park-based Sunset, will temporarily assume Kovas’ duties as president in addition to his current responsibilities.
