LAGUNA NIGUEL : School Team Places 5th in World Contest

Students on the Niguel Hills Middle School Odyssey of the Mind team recently captured fifth place out of 53 in the World International Competition in Colorado.
Odyssey of the Mind is a national program designed to help students develop problem-solving skills by using their imaginations. During the world competition, the Laguna Niguel team of eighth-graders performed a skit, which included a life-size buffalo they had built.
Team members Michael Rosenbluth, Susie Stevens, Briana Pompei, Jill Harrell, Kelly Reed, Aileen de la Cruz and Chris Perkins took first place with the same skit during the state competition.
