Com Systems Signs Deal for Long-Distance Service

Com Systems Inc., a Westlake Village long-distance telephone company, has agreed to provide operator-assisted long-distance services to about 2,400 pay telephones owned by Southern California Payphone in Van Nuys. Com Systems’ parent, Resurgens Communications Group Inc. of Atlanta, Ga., estimated the value of the contract to be more than $2 million a year.
