Monterey Park : Large-Item Trash Pickup

The city will hold its special large-item trash pickup on the five Saturdays in October. The free program is held twice a year so that residents can dispose of old furniture and appliances that are too heavy or bulky for the regular weekly trash pickups.
The special pickups will be in different parts of the city, depending on the day of regular pickup, as follows: Monday pickup, Oct. 3; Tuesday pickup, Oct. 10; Wednesday pickup, Oct. 17; Thursday pickup, Oct. 24, and Friday pickup, Oct. 31.
