RIVALRY LIVES: Though some schools played Thursday, tonight kicks off the first big weekend of high school football, with 27 games involving Orange County teams. . . . Among them: the traditional rivalry between Mater Dei and Servite. But this game--to be played in front of as many as 10,000 fans at Cal State Fullerton--will have one difference: There’s no league race involved. The 30-year-old, all-Catholic Angelus League disbanded after last season, with Mater Dei moving to the South Coast League and Servite to the Sunset.
