Charles E. Schroeter has been named head of the upper school at Westridge School in Pasadena.
He previously headed the middle school at St. Mary’s Academy in Englewood, Colo.
Schroeter, who graduated from Occidental College and earned his master’s degree at UCLA, is a member of the National Assn. of Independent Schools’ Editorial Board. He replaces George Baker, who left Westridge to pursue his doctorate.
