The NCAA will conduct its own investigation of seven Big Ten schools that gave extra financial aid in non-revenue sports.
The NCAA is concerned about some inconsistencies why the extra aid was paid by Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Purdue and Wisconsin, the Chicago Tribune reported.
