Aloha: Los Alamitos’ basketball team has been invited to play in the Maui Invitational scheduled Dec. 17-19 in Hawaii. Los Alamitos is the only team from California invited to play in the eight-team tournament that includes two teams from Canada and four from Hawaii.
Los Alamitos returns All-Empire League guards Steve Carbone and Tim Lin. Both averaged 14 points per game for the defending league champion.
