More on ‘Tonight’: Helen Kushnick may be out as executive producer of “The Tonight Show,” but the break is not total. As president of Big Dog Productions, which produces “The Tonight Show” with NBC Productions, Kushnick retains a financial stake in the late-night program. However, NBC maintains that she will make no decisions regarding the show. Kushnick, meanwhile, will not resume her role as Jay Leno’s manager, says her publicist. Kushnick was Leno’s manager from the time he was a young club comedian almost two decades ago until they took over “The Tonight Show” last May, when she sold her management company--at NBC’s behest--to avoid any conflict of interest.
