VENTURA : Bank Robber Gets Less Than $500

A man robbed a Ventura bank late Friday afternoon, fleeing with less than $500, police said.
The man entered the Bank of America at 2698 E. Main St. about 4:45 p.m. and approached a teller with a note demanding money, officials said. The robber said he had a gun, but did not show one, police said.
The robber fled after the teller handed him the cash, police said.
