CONFLICT?: A Yorba Linda city councilman has publicly questioned the propriety of Orange County Transportation Authority board member Dana Reed being the attorney for a fellow board member, Supervisor Don R. Roth. Reed represents Roth on allegations that he took gifts from business people, then voted on their projects. . . . Reed asserts that the councilman, Irwin M. Fried, doesn’t have “a legitimate concern” but is just playing politics. Reed has now obtained an opinion from OCTA lawyers clearing him of any conflict.
