Bush, Clinton Get Extension on Debate

SAN DIEGO — The University of San Diego agreed Monday to give President Bush and Bill Clinton one more day to come to terms for a debate Sunday.
At the urging of the bipartisan Commission on Presidential Debates, the university agreed to give the candidates until 2 p.m. today to agree to participate.
