Woman Raped, Deputies Report

A Thousand Oaks woman was raped after a man entered her apartment while she was sleeping, Ventura County sheriff’s deputies reported.
The attack occurred about 2 p.m. Friday at the Wilbur Oaks Apartments on East Wilbur Road, deputies said. They said the masked intruder was armed, but did not specify the weapon or the victim’s age.
The woman suffered minor lacerations but did not require hospital treatment, deputies said.
