Antoinette F. Molinari; Retired Actress

Antoinette (Toni) F. Molinari, who acted in motion pictures and on television, has died at a Burbank hospital. She was 63.
A resident of Hollywood who formerly lived in Burbank, Miss Molinari died Friday of kidney failure, said her sister, Yolanda McGinnis of Burbank.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Miss Molinari came to California in 1935 and the next year began working as an extra, appearing in films including “The Great O’Malley” (1937) with Humphrey Bogart. After graduating from Hollywood High School in 1947, she continued her acting career, appearing in “Town Without Pity” (1961) with Kirk Douglas and television’s “Laverne and Shirley.” In 1979, she appeared in her final film, “1941.”
In addition to her sister, Miss Molinari is survived by four nephews and two nieces.
A funeral Mass is scheduled for 2 p.m. today at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 6160 Cartwright Ave., North Hollywood. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park in North Hollywood. Pierce Brothers Valhalla Mortuary is handling the arrangements. Donations can be made in Miss Molinari’s name to the St. Joseph Medical Center Foundation or to the Motion Picture and Television Fund.
