While Michigan awaits an NCAA decision on the status of three of its top basketball players, Michigan State has triggered a similar inquiry.
The Spartans are investigating whether Mike Peplowski, Shawn Respert, Anthony Miller and Dwayne Stephens broke NCAA rules by appearing at three summer camps.
At Michigan, Chris Webber, Jalen Rose and Eric Riley may have violated a separate bylaw by accepting payment to appear at a charity basketball tournament.
