CAPTIVE AUDIENCE: Candidates for the Newport Beach City Council won’t have to worry about people walking out on their forum tonight. It will take place on the 151-foot luxury liner Lord Hornblower, which will cruise Newport Harbor as five candidates for two City Council seats mingle with 750 guests. . . . Tickets for the cruise, which is free, were almost all gone Monday. The payment, jokes one of the organizers, is that “the guests have to listen to the candidates.”
