OJAI : Farmers’ Market Gets New Location

The Certified Ojai Farmers’ Market has found a new home, thanks to the efforts of the City Council and a bank.
Since early this year, the open-air market has been held on Sundays at a defunct Chevrolet dealership on West Ojai Avenue. The location, however, did not provide high visibility or accessibility, said market operator Cynthia Korman. “We were not doing very well and that is when the city wanted to help,” Korman said.
The council recommended a second site at the Bank of America on 307 E. Ojai Ave.
The market will be open Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
