An orthodox Jewish community, angered by the acquittal of a black teen-ager in the stabbing death of a rabbinical student, is threatening to disrupt Sunday’s New York City Marathon, race director Fred Lebow said. The Crown Heights neighborhood in Brooklyn, at about the 10-mile mark of the race, has been tense since Thursday night, when 17-year-old Lemrick Nelson was acquitted on four charges of murder and manslaughter in the death of Yankel Rosenbaum, a Hasidic scholar from Australia.
