Matthews Studio Obtains Star Lighting Assets

Matthews Studio Equipment Group, a Burbank supplier of camera and lighting equipment to the entertainment industry, said it has completed the acquisition of substantially all the assets of Star Lighting Enterprises Ltd. for about $1.2 million.

Included in the acquisition were generators, lights, cables, grip camera and lighting support equipment, lighting trucks and other assets. Matthews said the equipment would be refurbished and folded into its Hollywood Rental Co. subsidiary.
