WINNER AT LAST: For years, Santa Ana lawyer Wylie Aitken has been a stalwart fund-raiser and supporter of losing Democratic candidates. But Aitken is so excited about this year’s outcome, he and his wife, Bette, traveled to Washington this week for newly elected U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s swearing in. . . . “It’s exciting to be on the winning side, but sobering too because the burden is on us to produce,” Aitken says. In January, he replaces developer Richard O’Neill as chairman of the county’s Democratic Foundation, a candidate fund-raising group.
