NO MORE HOTELS: Pilar Wayne is steaming about a supermarket tabloid headline: “John Wayne’s Debt-ridden Widow Moves Into Trailer.” Says Wayne: “It is a stupid story and nothing is true.” . . . The trailer is actually a mobile home in Treasure Island, the South Laguna bluff-top mobile home park, which Wayne has used as a retreat for 15 years. She plans to move there after selling her opulent two-story French country home overlooking Upper Newport Bay. Wayne explains the home is “just huge. It’s like a hotel.”
