Trout at Irvine Could Carry Christmas Bonus

Irvine Lake’s fall and winter trout plants will top 50,000 pounds by Christmas, including some tagged trophy rainbows of up to 16 pounds scheduled to go in next week.
The tags can be redeemed for envelopes on the tackle store Christmas tree, each listing a prize.
Elsewhere, cold weather continues to discourage many fishermen, but most of those fishing are catching.
