Guard Malcolm Sims, the only true freshman on fourth-ranked Indiana’s basketball team, has decided to transfer.
Sims, who was selected the Ohio Division I player of the year by the state’s coaches last year, had been used sparingly in Indiana’s first eight games. Sixteen players have left Indiana before graduation since 1981.
