‘Dinosaur’ Dig

As an old wife, I take offense at the misuse of the phrase “old wives’ tale” in the TV Times article “Deep Into Dinosaurs” (Nov. 22). The story states that “One old wives’ tale about dinosaurs that has been put to rest was that dinosaurs were stupid.” That was an old scientist’s tale.
