Countywide : Assemblyman to Meet the Public

Assemblyman Jack O’Connell (D-Carpinteria) will meet the public during street corner stops today in Santa Paula and Ventura, officials said.
He will set up a card table from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at 10th and Main streets in Santa Paula, spokeswoman Kris Kuzmich said. He will take questions from residents and try to address their concerns, she said.
O’Connell will also hold card-table hours from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Main and California streets in downtown Ventura.
O’Connell holds the informal public meetings on a regular basis, Kuzmich said. “Whatever the issue, whatever the topic, people can come and have a conversation with Jack O’Connell,” she said.
No appointment is necessary.
