Rudy Suwara, former San Diego State women’s volleyball coach, filed a $1.5-million lawsuit against the university and four top officials, claiming he was fired for insisting on equal treatment of female athletes. Suwara was dismissed in July after 16 years as the Aztecs’ coach.
