Now that the Metro Rail is open, the public can now see firsthand the high level of competency that went into the system’s art program.
I think that Neil Peterson of the Los Angeles County Transportation Commission should be congratulated for leading the team that has provided Los Angeles with one of the most important examples of public art in the country. Peterson is not only a truly enlightened civil servant but he is also a civil visionary.
