Fire at Former GM Plant

ATLANTA — About 200 firefighters battled a blaze for several hours Thursday at General Motors Corp.’s former Lakewood vehicle assembly plant, which was closed in 1990. No injuries were reported. Officials said the fire started in an area where chemicals were stored.
