If You Can’t Believe Chick, Who’s Left?

With regard to Mark Bennett’s assessment of Laker announcer Chick Hearn (Viewpoint, March 20), he could not be more wrong. He states that Hearn’s comments are not believable.

Chick tells it like it is. If the Lakers are stinking that night, he says so. Bennett should listen to the Clippers’ announcers. Then he will understand the difference between an unbiased announcer such as Chick and those who fill a game with patronizing fluff.
