3 Named as Members of Smithsonian Board

WASHINGTON — University of Chicago President Hanna Holborn Gray will join a former congressman and a Washington lawyer as new members of the Smithsonian Institution’s Board of Regents, the Smithsonian has announced.
Former Rep. Barber B. Conable, a New York Republican, retired from Congress in 1985 and finished a five-year term as president of the World Bank Group in 1991. Wesley Samuel Williams Jr. is a partner in the law firm of Covington & Burling.
