And the Nominees Are: Nominations are in for “The American Television Awards,” a two-hour ABC special on May 24 honoring outstanding performances and programs on prime-time TV during the 1992-93 season. Among the nominees are “Cheers,” “Murphy Brown,” “The Larry Sanders Show,” “Roseanne” and “Seinfeld” for best comedy series, and “Homefront,” “Homicide: Life on the Street,” “I’ll Fly Away,” “Northern Exposure” and “Picket Fences” for best drama.
